With Perfect Days, 77-year-old German director Wim Wenders returns to human drama. The film tells the story of Hirayama, a public toilet cleaner in Tokyo who seems utterly content with his simple life. Outside of his structured daily routine, he enjoys his passions for music and books. He also loves trees and takes photos of them. A series of unexpected encounters gradually reveal more about his past. The film is a deeply moving and poetic reflection on finding beauty in the everyday world around us.
The film premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme d'Or and won the Best Actor Award for Kōji Yakusho. It was also nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards, becoming the first film directed by a non-Japanese filmmaker to be nominated as Japan’s entry.

8. Re-entry of ticketholders may not be granted to the venue due to security reasons.
9. Venue doors will close at the time indicated on the ticket.
