The young Saudi singer Abdulaziz Al-Muanna gives his first concert in Kuwait at the Amphitheatre on 21 January, accompanied by a musical ensemble conducted by Dr Ahmed Al-Oud. Although Abdulaziz Al-Muanna is no stranger to Kuwait, having studied at the Higher Institute of Musical Arts and collaborated with several Kuwaiti artists, this concert marks his first appearance here as a lead vocalist, following the success of his debut album, released last year, and his growing presence as one of the rising young stars of Khaleeji music.

Al-Muanna began his singing career in 2011 with the single “Allemini” (Teach Me), which gained wide popularity. He then stepped back from the music scene to focus on his studies, returning years later with “Enta Waynak?” (Where Are You?), which enjoyed bigger success and encouraged him to leave medical school and pursue music in Kuwait. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he took part in the talent show “The Voice” and later composed for a number of young artists. In November 2024, he released a mini-album featuring six romantic tracks that stand apart from the mainstream sound of recent Khaleeji releases. At the end of last summer, he followed with two singles, “Wesh Ra’yak” and “Al-Akhbar”, in addition to numerous live performances across Saudi Arabia. In his upcoming concert at the Amphitheatre, Abdulaziz Al-Muanna will perform a selection of his songs, along with other favourites, in an evening that showcases his unique style.
